Years ago when we had visited Bolivia I had the opportunity to see Bamboo growing as a wild thicket.
They are used in irrigation of the fields as a natural pipe from water source to the rows of plants. Bamboo has nodes that have to be removed from the inside so that water can run through. Lately I have compared my life with a Bamboo pole. The nodes (tough times) are meant to be there so you have to push through to the next one, and the next. Eventually by not giving up , you as a person can be used as a "bridge" to bring the needed resources to others. It is humbling at times to watch others grow and reach a higher potential but knowing you had a small part in the process. I am constantly reminded (by my boss) that Blumenflor is there for the community to help us grow together and get through tough times. So be a bridge wherever you can, the rewards are priceless!
